Hugely popular Monstera Deliciosa, commonly known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a tropical houseplant known for its large, glossy green leaves with natural splits and holes. In nature, these splits and holes (fenestrations) help the Monstera plant to resist high winds and rains. Not only that, but the more fenestrations a leaf has the more light that can go through to older leaves keeping the plant strong and healthy.

Toxicity
The leaves are toxic to humans, cats, and dogs if ingested. Contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause irritation, swelling, and digestive discomfort.

Propagation Method
Propagation is best done through stem cuttings.
